Our Story

Sleepy Bee Bamboo started with something pretty ordinary: wanting our kids in the comfiest thing possible, every single day — not just for special occasions. It's also given my wife the chance to be home with them, which means everything to us.

I get how much comfort matters more than people realize, because of what I do for work. I'm in vascular and open heart surgery — 24+ hour shifts, entire weekends on call, the kind of days where by the time I finally get home, all I want is to put on something soft and just breathe. If that's what I crave after a long day, why wouldn't I want the same thing for our kids, every single day?

That's really what Sleepy Bee Bamboo is: comfort, for the people who need it most. It's also why we give back — a portion of every sale goes to patients at the hospital, in whatever small way we can. It's why you'll find our sleepwear on the shelves at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, too — full circle, right where it started.
